Private Cottage! Easy Walk Through The Park To Encinitas And Moonlight Beach.

"It is rare that a rental out does its listing info. This casita (which is pretty spacious by my casita standards) was perfect in all ways. Private, beautifully decorated, amenities galore, ideally adjacent to Cottonwood Creak Park and only a short walk to Moonlight Beach and downtown Encinitas. The hosts were responsive and generous. If we ever get the opportunity to return to the area, we hope to stay there again (and again)!"

"I had the plan to enjoy your hotel with my family in San Diego…but your hotel was in construction, and when I make the reservation nobody tell me about it… workers were leaving there, your pool was closed… your building was dirty because the construction that you didn’t say anything… I flying in for 3 nights… we have to find another place to hang out. Your staff was unfriendly… “yes, no… I don’t know”… the Jorge guy was … “ why you need my name???”… And told me he is paying for speak English not Spanish when I discovery he can speaks Spanish … and about “breakfast included?” You put some apples and coffee in the same small room with the “front desk” … no lobby no privacy… what a joke … and your people now but they play like everything is good and I don’t know what are I talking about!!! … very expensive for this very bad experience 👎"

"I love the quiet location! It's 2 blocks to the beach, the rooms are cozy. I had a kitchenette. The kitchen was stocked with 100 plates 2 spoons 2 forks, pots pans and 1 bowl, 1 glass 1 wine glass. Bring your own aluminum foil, paper towels, they provide dish soap and there is a small working dishwasher. You need to let the desk know for house keeping. Unfortunately we said every other day and Noone showed up at all the 4 days that we were there. I asked for clean towels and forgot where they kept the extra toilet paper so we ran out, but we had a wonderful time."

"Unfortunately, our bags were misplaced during check-in, which created a very stressful and frustrating experience from the start of our trip. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I was disappointed with how the situation was handled by management. The communication regarding our missing bags was confusing, and I felt there was a lack of urgency and empathy given the circumstances. Considering the inconvenience, stress, and uncertainty caused by not knowing where our belongings were, I believe more could have been done to accommodate us and provide reassurance while the issue was being resolved. Overall, the experience left us feeling concerned and dissatisfied with the level of customer service we received."

"A very nice stay overall. We've stayed here several times-my wife traveled solo this trip. Housekeeping came in and changed out towels but didn't make the bed (?) Also, there were ants in the kitchen area. I'll be staying there myself on my next trip to Encinitas. I have to say the renovations they have made are excellent. A very good place to stay."
