"It was a pleasant surprise to see the cottage looks exactly like the pictures shown, it was thoughtfully decorated and clean. The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms were small with little counter space. Other than that, the whole place feels spacious and views were spectacular. The kitchen is efficient with all the basic supplies. Washer/Dryer was a bonus as well as two bathrooms. We stayed here as a base and drove out to explore the Bonavista area. Tickle Cove, Elliston and Trinity were our favourite visit. The cottage is within walking distance to town centre and grocery store. It’s a short drive to the Dungeon Provincial Park and Cape Bonavista Lighthouse. Sitting on the deck and watching the sunset was amazing."

"Nice, clean and cozy. Laundry was a bonus! Nicely stocked with amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. Good WiFi and tv! We unfortunately had a nasty rainy night so this was appreciated! The host was a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful."

"Beautiful spot in Elliston! The scenery was absolutely stunning — we could watch and even hear whales right from the deck, which was unforgettable. It’s also just a short walk to see the puffins, which was such a highlight. The cottage had everything we needed and more, making our stay super comfortable. We especially loved the thoughtful touch of the homemade jam left for us — so kind and delicious! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing Newfoundland getaway."

"Sheila was terrific! The property was lovely and clean. well, we did not use the washing machine or dryer, they were certainly available. The water in Buena Vista and surrounding areas has a lot of iron in it, so the freshwater that was provided was greatly appreciated."
