"Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs."

"3rd time at Bennys. Such a comfortable house, extremely clean and warm. Village has one shop, a chippy and a pub. Only 10 min walk from the Wetlands, which is great for my, birdwatching hubby. "Lovely little cottage in a very nice small town. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Although no parking is available outside the front of the cottage, we had no problem parking in the road outside under the bridge as suggested. We enjoyed the walks along the Humber with the path starting right behind the cottage. "Had such high hopes for this place, based on the images and location, but was so disappointed when we arrived. Genuinely considered leaving and paying to go elsewhere. Host was really great with communication and checking in, but wished we knew before booking that you actually stay at the scratty end of their property, with all the chicken coops and sheep. "Really enjoyed the stay, the yurt was great and the spa sort of expensive but at the same time where else gives you full ownership of a spa for 3 hours? Not many places so for that I would say it was worth it. Very clean shower facilities were great. The yogurt itself is not very private because it’s so close to the manor when you walk out the door you’re in view of the top windows however it’s located 15 minutes away from a few different trails which were really fun to take the dog.
