"The hotel is showing its age. They keep it clean and the staff is as warm and welcoming as always. We had to upgrade to a condo at the tower and it is not as well maintained as the hotel. "We had an excellent stay at Punta Leona! The rooms were comfortable and very well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Every single staff member we interacted with—from reception, room service, the restaurants, the bars, and the entertainment team—was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The resort offers the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. We especially enjoyed the birdwatching and butterfly activities, where the guides were knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. Between the nature walks, beautiful beaches, pool activities, exfoliation sessions, and excellent gastronomy, every day was a wonderful balance of exploring the jungle and ocean while also taking time to unwind. We highly recommend Punta Leona to families and to anyone looking to experience Costa Rica’s natural beauty in a peaceful, relaxing setting."
