"Our flight was diverted due to weather, causing a 5 hour delay so we were not actually able to stay overnight but staff kindly let us hang out in the morning and enjoy our breakfast. The breakfast was super tasty and filling. Two scarlet macaws ate bananas at the feeders while we had our breakfast. Such a cool experience!"

We watched (and heard!) capuchin and howler monkeys around the hotel; swam in the clean, warm pool; enjoyed the abundant flowering plants; and ate at the lovely outdoor, reasonably-priced restaurant Location was close to bioluminescence waters, Curu Nature Reserve and more. "The views from the higher rise building are exceptional especially river view from the 5th floor. We loved breakfast and pool time here - stayed two nights and didn’t leave the resort! Some party noises on the Sat night and into the wee hours but expected given we are on holiday! "

"Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely breathtaking! Sitting under the covered patio during the afternoon showers was so relaxing. We saw over 40 species of birds on the property. The property is situated so you can see all the macaws flying over the water to roost each night. We absolutely loved this spot!"

"Loved our brief stay here. It's a beautiful sanctuary of nature. Feels like middle of the jungle, but groomed. Our room was clean and inviting, the staff friendly and Patricia was super helpful in helping with our transportation needs."
