Can only get coffee at paid breakfast. Shuttle is convenient but you have to load bags on and off van. The driver only drives. They need to lighten up the rooms. Way too dark and depressing."

"This hotel was conveniently located near La Rambla and not far from the Cathedral of Barcelona. The lobby was spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good in a large and comfortable dining room. Locals indicated the area might be a little dicey at night, but we dined at one of the nearby restaurants and did our strolling during daylight hours. It is not close to some of the big attractions, e.g., Sagrada Familia or other Gaudi works of art, but cabs were plentiful and reasonable in price."
