"A wonderful, intimate hotel. This hotel feels cozy without feeling outdated. All the amenities were great. The shower had very hot water (a rare thing in Peru). A short 15 walk from the Plaza de Armas. The staff and owner of the hotel were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. The garden was so peaceful and calming. I stayed with my family of four and we wished we could stay longer to fully see all of Arequipa. You will not regret staying here. Loved it. 10/10"

Nothing was too much trouble, including arranging taxis and breakfast boxes due to an early start one morning. We recommend Los Tambos Colonial without hesitation."

"Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. About 2 blocks from the plaza. The rooms all face inside so you can’t open window for ventilation. There was no AC. We asked for a fan and that helped a lot. It was quiet and they held our luggage before snd after check in/out. Would recommend."

They even made us a take away breakfast bag because our flight was early on leaving. We have not had this kind of dedicated service in the USA for years .
