"We had a wonderful time. The condo was very nice and comfortable. The view to the beach was the best. The host and condo staff were responsive, friendly and helpful. I did have issues with the initial access code when entering the property but the host quickly assisted by resetting the code. "My only complaint about the property was the elevators not working properly. It was about 30 minutes wait for the elevator to get to the floor of the room. This is the only negative experience. My last day I had to go down the elevator with two luggages. Riu needs to find a better way for the elevators to work."

The food was delicious at the specialty restaurants; we tried the Argentinian and the Italian, our room was clean and we had fun at the adults only pool. All in all, our stay was very would highly recommend staying at El Cid Castilla Mazatlán. Thanks to all for making our stay a beautiful experience."

"The hotel is older but spotless! The staff were welcoming. Our room was facing the ocean. The room was large and had a full size fridge. The beds were firm but very comfortable. We booked the room with breakfast which was very convenient. This is not a five star resort but we were extremely happy with the hotel. It was nice to see Mexican people enjoying the hotel and ocean!
