"Marianne (zelf ook Nederlands van oorsprong) heeft ons zeer gastvrij verwelkomt. We waren blij verrast met ons verblijf. Behoorlijk ruim, grote bedden, complete keuken, nette badkamer, heerlijke douche! Ligging is prachtig met uitzicht op de Arenal Vulkaan. Marianne heeft ons gezin ook meegenomen om vuurvliegjes te bekijken vlakbij de accommodatie! Dit was echt GEWELDIG! kenden we alleen van tv.. Elke ochtend werd er een ontbijtje gebracht...wat een luxe! Wij voelden ons hier zeer welkom,veilig...

"This place was perfect for our visit to the area. We wanted to spend time around the volcano and spend a day at Los Logos Resort and this property was close to both. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the chickens and taking in the incredible view of the volcano. Would definitely recommend this place."

"The property was in a nice family neighborhood, with friendly helpful neighbors, and a gorgeous view that was accurate as shown in the photos. We loved El Castillo overall. The host advertised this via Expedia as "Entire place - You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party" and that is what I expected we were reserving and paying for. We got there and found it was 2 separate studio rentals on levels 1 and 2 of the house. The landlady was nice...

"Adan and Marianne were perfect hosts and far exceeded our expectations. Communication and check-in were easy and they even called to help us navigate a GPS error (on our part) on our way there. Property was clean and their flowers were beautiful. They gave us fresh fruit and pastries in the morning. Our 2 young kids quickly took to Adan and Marianne, plus their two adorable dogs. Our kids loved checking out the birds on the property with them, and they were gracious to lend us binoculars and...

"We had an awesome week!! The view of the volcano, amazing!! We loved eating on the rooftop table, beautiful views and weather!! Very clean and safe!! Also nice having use of washer and dryer!! Easy to communicate with host!! While on rooftop if you look in opposite direction of volcano you will see several different beautiful birds in the trees!!"

"Incredible stay… very appreciative. "

"Great stay. Very easy for our family of 5."

"Un lugar precioso con un gerente estupendo que te ayuda en lo que puede. Lo recomiendo cien por cien."

"Great quiet Costa Rican-style cabin on a nice, secluded property close to everything."

"This is a small house consisting of a single spacious room (or you could say a very open floor plan) with two queen beds, a kitchen and a dining area. The front of the house has a large outside covered area extending over the driveway, which is convenient for loading/unloading the car, especially during the rainy season. The property location is very convenient to many restaurants as well as hiking areas and hot springs/spas. The photo of the property shows a great view of the Arenal Volcano. ...

"The property is beautiful, with such amazing views, so many birds to see each morning! Special shoutout to Pablo- who was very responsive and also helped arrange wine bottle for us at a late hour. Would definitely recommend this place. "

"This place was awesome! It was a perfect location to Monteverde. We definitely recommend doing Abuela’s breakfast in the morning. The host was really responsive and the sunset over the Lou twins was beautiful. My 8 year-old daughter loved the park. It was a perfect place for her to run around, especially after a few hours in the car. The home was beautiful with easy check-in/out instructions. We would 100% stay again. "

"10000/10 Javier was a wonderful host, would highly recommend. He was very accommodating, very helpful with local suggestions. We had issues finding the location, he even went to go find us. Absolutely wonderful experience. The dome was one of the coolest experiences we’ve had yet."

"The most beautiful cabin I have ever stayed in. If you want magical volcano views this is the best place ."
