"An Unforgettable Red Sea Escape Atmosphere & Grounds The layout of the resort is compact compared to the massive megastructures in the area. It strikes a great balance: vibrant enough to feel energetic, but small enough that you never have to take long, exhausting walks to get from your room to the pool or the beach. The grounds are immaculately maintained, featuring manicured gardens and spotless pool decks. Beach & Marine Life The star attraction is the beachfront. The sand is clean and wide, but the real highlight is the house reef right off the shore. You don't need to take an expensive boat tour to see amazing marine life; just strap on a snorkel mask, walk straight into the calm water, and you are immediately surrounded by colorful corals and fish. Food & Service All-inclusive resort dining can be hit-or-miss, but the culinary team here does an impressive job. The main buffet offers high daily variety, live cooking stations, and fresh options—even for selective eaters. The staff is the resort's biggest asset: from the warm reception team and room attendants to the attentive poolside waiters and high-energy animation team, everyone works hard to ensure you're having a great time. "The Grand Resort Review I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Grand Resort! Everything was perfect, from the excellent services and facilities to the cleanliness and the overall atmosphere. The resort is very well maintained, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and all the facilities were great. The staff were one of the best parts of my stay — everyone was friendly, helpful, professional, and always willing to assist with a smile. Everything was well organized, and the service was consistently excellent throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed every moment and felt very comfortable and welcomed. A big thank you to the entire team at The Grand Resort for making my stay such a wonderful experience Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back again"

"We stayed five nights at the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort with my wife and teen daughter in a luxury suite to wrap up our extensive Egypt trip. The room was beautifully furnished with 3 balconies providing 270 degree view. The property’s true strength is its beautiful beach and sunset views. The main shortcomings is a very limited number of restaurants (2) which is rather unusual for such a sprawling resort. All in all, an excellent stay."

"The hotel was as expected, and the staff were consistently helpful. I was, however, disappointed by the very limited number of women on staff. I recognize that women are less represented in the workforce in Egypt, and having visited the country several times, was prepared for that disparity. Still, it can be uncomfortable as a female guest to have nearly every interaction be with men. I continue to hope that hotels—particularly those with international ownership and clientele—will give greater consideration to gender diversity among their staff."
