Overall nice. The water has a strong sulfur (rotten eggs) smell, but I'm guessing that's just the area. Nice size room

Lake Hotel Gistihusid Egilsstadir
Clean, spacious and quiet room with a lake view. Comfortable bed and great breakfast (included in price). Spa (sauna and hot tub) was nice, although was a small extra charge.

One of our favorite places to stay during our 10day trip on the ring road. Kitchenette well stocked, comfy beds, able to do laundry. Highly recommend.

Kaldá Lyngholt Holiday Homes
This was our favourite stay while in Iceland. The cabins were well stocked and quiet, the right distance from town to feel removed. We were able to cook basic meals and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. Wouldn’t change a thing. It was lovely!
