Captain Istvan Dobo became famous in 1552, when he defended the fortress and the city of Eger, without retreating before the army of Turks many times larger in number. During the defense of the Eger stronghold on September 9 - October 18, 1552, together with 2100 defenders, the captain successfully resisted the onslaught of the 80,000th Turkish army, thereby disrupting the plan for the Turks to attack Vienna.

One night in Eger
One night. Realised family hotel after getting there. But inckuded dinner and breakfast. Not really great though. Had to move rooms could hearvthe bowling alley in our room. The pools and saunas were nice.
