"AD1 properties, y'all need to spend some MONEY! Staff was MORE than helpful, but the rooms, these definitely need upgrades. Warm cookies won't cut it anymore. After a 12 hour drive, my husband and I just wanted to decompress, shower and sleep. The small refrigerator was leaking so the carpet was completely wet. Had requested a King bed, which this was but transferred to a double. No complaints there, but the ac was blowing heat at 86 degrees on a HOT, N. Carolina night. Ugh...maintenance came rather quickly, but it took a few minutes to remedy the issue, so essentially another hour of changing rooms and waiting. While Hilton is just the "brand", I expect better from property management. This would deter me from using a DoubleTree again. Thank you to the front desk lady who compensated us with breakfast and to the maintenance man for his patience with us and worked until we were comfortable. You're absolute KEEPERS!"
