"Heating would not work. I was sick. Maintenance did the least amount possible wouldn’t even test the temperature of the air coming out of the vent. Just trusted the thermostat temperature and I didn’t have enough energy to argue about it. Lazy, disgraceful maintenance staff."

"The plumbing was iffy. The shower temperature was lukewarm and you knew when a toilet was flushed in a nearby room. The breakfast was pretty meager."

"This resort has so many great things about it. It’s not cheap so they really need to step up. The property itself is beautiful. The cottage is so charming and cute, I could not say this enough, the location of it the feel of it, the porch everything. However it is not kept up and not clean very stained furniture dirty refrigerator, dirty sink. Everything really needed to be cleaned. The pool is a bit disgraceful to be honest, although it’s very nice to be able to jump in the pool. The chairs are all torn and sagging to say the least definitely wouldn’t take much to upgrade the furniture. Or at least just to have chairs that don’t have holes all over them, you can’t even sit down. One restaurant served the exact same drinks at the exact same time for half the price. The food at the Salon was terrible. There were three of us and none of us were able to finish our food. However we did later go up to the Inn. The sister property and the food was amazing. All in all we had an amazing visit the location has so much to offer. I will definitely recommend this place and be back, but I would ask that they do a thorough cleaning on my room next time "

"Great location—there’s a grocery store right behind the hotel, and the bus stop is right there too. The room was spacious and had pretty much everything you need. The sauna was working and very hot, which is all we needed. The property is a bit old, but for what you pay, it’s worth it compared to other hotels. Covered parking is very nice when it’s snowing. The staff were helpful, and they offer a small breakfast—not great, but enough to carb up before skiing 😂 Overall, it was a perfect stay and I’d definitely go back."

"I love Mammoth but the rooms at MMI are old and really outdated. Rust, mold, paint peeling, etc mostly in the bathrooms. Parking gets worse and worse with only about 35 parking spots in the covered parking and it’s really narrow and tight. This place just needs a major overhaul"

"no mini fridge, no safe, only given one shower towel, there was no back to the remote so the batteries fell out every time I used it. No shampoo, no body wash. I will not stay here again"

"If you’re looking for a very dog friendly place that’s also a really nice resort. This hits the Mark. We didn’t have a dog. But it was cute how they have doggy chairs. Matt, the dog lay on. A doggy park. All while maintaining a very nice atmosphere fireplaces great restaurant and clean rooms."
