"Finding a pet-friendly place is always difficult. Sprinkle in a single night’s stay on a holiday weekend near Cooperstown into the mix and it becomes impossible. HOWEVER…at KC’s…we stayed in a brand new room which was entirely spotless on a bed that gave us the best night of sleep in memory! The property is still under some construction, but the value here is really, really great!"

"I can't say enough for how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our room was clean, housekeeping offered daily. Pool was very clean and tidy. Continental breakfast offered with clean and well tended dining area. This motel reminded me of places I stayed as a kid, very nostalgic. These folks offer true hospitality."

"Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home."

"I loved the downstairs and the restaurant. I felt the rooms could use better comforters and decoration. It wouldn’t take much to upgrade them aesthetically. The music stage in front of the lake was not pleasant to look at, but it probably helps their business model."

"Having been in for the Boilermaker, we found this location to be of good value and within a close proximity to the race. The staff were friendly and accommodating allowing us to come back after the race for a late check out so we could shower. There's a Walmart nearby so it was convenient if we needed anything. Ultimately, we'd be glad to do it all over again next year for the race."
