"Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon"

"The property is quite quirky with uneven floors but has character. Quite a small hotel and choices at breakfast were limited. Vegetarians and people with other dietary requirements not really catered for."

"The property is very tired looking. The hot water took a long time to come through and the shower was slow.
The bed was not made properly, the duvet was just pulled up and not even neatly. The edge of the duvet was resting on the bedside cabinet rather than being tucked down."
