"The Hilton Virginia Conference Center Tapestry Collection has something that’s becoming increasingly rare: genuine character. The lobby, architecture, and overall atmosphere have a warmth that sets it apart from the sea of interchangeable hotel boxes. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and made for an enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age. The guest rooms are in desperate need of a refresh. Worn furnishings, dated finishes, and tired bathrooms make it feel like the property has been coasting on its charm for a little too long. None of it ruined our stay, but it was impossible to ignore. The good news is that the foundation is already there. This is a hotel with personality, generous room sizes, and a unique identity. It doesn’t need a complete reinvention. It simply needs investment. With a thoughtful renovation, this could easily become one of the premier Hilton properties in the area. For now, it’s a pleasant stay with plenty of charm… just one that’s overdue for a well-deserved facelift."
