"Nice house! The foosball table and chess globe set were hits. We loved the screened in porch. It could use a good power wash, but the outdoor seats and table were clean, so we didn’t mind. We would have liked more seating in the living room area. While you can be with others and sit and watch TV from the dining table across the room while they sit on the 3 person couch, the wooden dining chairs weren’t ideal for hanging out to chat or watch TV. As you can tell from the pictures, there’s a lot of stairs between the parking area and all the way down to the lake, so it’s not handicap accessible. The top platform has a “springy” board that I was worried I’d break, but i didn’t! I had a boot on at times for a healing broken leg and could manage the steps. The lake is pretty and the neighborhood was quiet except for barking dogs at times, which we didn’t mind because we have a dog ourselves. My husband and sons enjoyed the kayaks and my son and I enjoyed hanging in the lake. I used an innertube and my son just hung out. You have to wade through green plants under the water which might deter some folks, but the owners confirmed it’s safe and ok to swim in, and that was my experience. The plants weren’t slimy or gross. Fishing was great right off the dock!The hosts are great, too. I contacted them throughout the week and they were responsive and even had stuff delivered during our stay to make it even better."
