"There were spots of blood on the bathroom floor. I would not stay during a heat wave. We ended up leaving because the room was boiling hot, and whilst there was a fan, it just wafted warm air around, you couldn't open the windows because it had a safety link on it. The receptionist was lovely but she couldn't get hold of any managers and whilst she offered us a room on the other side of the hotel, it wasn't much cooler and didn'thave the extra bed we needed. We'd had book 2 rooms for 2 couokes...

"I booked a double room which was so small. It had a dreadful view over an alley and roof top. So not desirable in any way. The room had a small fan - there is no air conditioning - we roasted - it was so so hot unbearable. With two adults in such a small room with no air-conditioning terrible. What made it worse was that there is a heated towel rail in the bathroom that was permanently on which you could not turn off so the small bathroom was so hot and made the room even worse. The upside...

"Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch."
