"Comfortable shower after hiking was great. Plus, having free toiletries was helpful."

"This motel is disgusting. Room smelled like 30 years of cigarette smoke. Whole place in such disrepair. You definitely get what you pay for. Never again"

"A favorite!! We returned here for a second stay because of the beautiful setting, the amenities that make a perfect haven for a stop-over on a long trip (refrigerator, pool, coffee options). So thankful for close proximity to quick morning hike (or a long one!)."

"The perfect place for two people looking for a peaceful getaway. Right on the Jackson River Scenic Trail for biking. Top Jackson River fishing and kayaking spots all within close proximity. The apartment feels large with lots of storage, full kitchen, roomy bathroom and multiple windows for fresh air. The bed and loveseat were comfy. Keep the windows open at night and drift off to sleep with the sounds of the river then wake up to the lovely songs of the birds!"

"WiFi worked well, got some work done easily. Comfortable enough to focus on tasks."

"Excellent place to stay on our motorcycle ride vacation. Great views from window upstairs. Lot of deer wandering around. Good restaurants in Lexington VA. We will definitely stay here again."

"Located in quiet area, clean with necessary appliances. Truly enjoyed our stay. Even got to pet horses and goats that are on the owners property. Would stay again when in area."

"The place is a dump and questionable people staying there possibly on drugs. My husband woke the next morning to a flat tire that had a obvious puncture room in the sidewall no security cameras on premises lost a day of work and had to buy a tire and was not offered a refund."

"Brief stopover but pleased we picked this lodging. Everything was straightforward, which is what we looked for during our journey."

"A solid choice if you're passing through Red Mills! Everything from check in to checkout went smoothly."

"The layout worked wonderfully, having a fridge let us keep snacks handy while we explored locally!"

"They room was ok. Had to clean the bathroom and fridge before we could use. There is no one at the front desk, so you have to call and speak to someone. Had to wait 4 hours for towels to even shower. They have a major fly issue in the room. Its is a convenient location."

"Great little cabin with beautiful countryside and only a short distance from Lexington and VMI! Easy check-in. Great space indoors and out. Kitchen was nice and had all the amenities we needed."

"Spent two nights here. It was quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long drive."

"Overall solid stay definitely met our needs while exploring Virginia."

"Great location for this trip of ours. Space felt ample for two, plus having that diner nearby was fantastic when we didn't want to go far for food. Enjoyed watching the sunset from our window too."

"Nicely kept and great pastoral location. Would recommend adding a few more kitchen supplies to make cooking a little easier. Really did not enjoy a corner camera and alarm at parking area that would go off everytime you walked by. I've never experienced that at a short term rental. Overall pretty good stay though"
