We were given a shabby room, which clearly used to be a shed before. "I used to use the Hilton in central Durban it now that’s switched hands I come to this one instead. Very safe to walk to the beach one mile away Walkable to the gateway shopping mall (700 meters). Staff excellent and very helpful. Lovely little well Maintained gym and outdoor pool area. Undercover parking for less than a few USD per night. Happy hour each night for three hours and awesome TV in room with loads and loads of domestic and international channels. Definitely well worth the money."
