"Location was great. Place could use a refresh. The big complaint was lack of info on how to get into the unit after hours. The bldg is supposed to lock at 7pm and on 3 occasions it was locked around 5pm. We did have a key to access back of bldg. But we did not take it with us one day as we were returning way before 7pm one night. AFTER 3 nights there we were finally told how to access the key fob that allowed us entry into the bldg. This information should be given to guests. If the bldg posts...

"Literally the best place to stay in all of Durango even for short stays. I always come here and had to go to a different hotel one time and immediately regretted not staying at The Leland House. It’s central to everything fun in downtown and so nice you might not want to even leave your room."
