We made so many wonderful memories over a short weekend and we just can't wait to come back!The cabin itself rivals chalets we've stayed in at the Smokies and was made even better by only being an hour from home. There were amenities we didn't even know we needed and all the personal touches welcomed us like we were coming home. Pictures of the property don't come close to what it was in person; stunning, peaceful and beautiful. Our family truly enjoyed this property!"

"Our stay was the great! The host is very welcoming. the home was very dog friendly. we travel with a large truck and trailer and the parking was one of our best. The host confirmed flat parking and delivered more than shared!!! This will be a return location for myself and my partner with our dog. "

"We just wrapped up our second stay at a beautiful VRBO on Lake Malone, Kentucky, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first. This place truly has everything you could think of—every detail is covered, which makes it so easy to just show up, relax, and enjoy.The setting is incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for unplugging and spending quality time together. The home itself was spotless and well cared for, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The views are absolutely scenic—waking up to the lake each morning never gets old.Fishing was fantastic during our stay, and we made some unforgettable memories as a family out on the water and just hanging out together. Those are the moments you can’t really put a price on.On top of all that, the host was amazing—kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they really care about making sure guests have a great experience.This has quickly become a special place for our family, and we’re already hoping to come back again soon. "Absolutely awesome place to stay. Only thing that I will pass on to the next guest is to be prepared to launch your boat (if applicable) at the state dock because the shady cliff boat ramp is closed due to being up for sale. Will definitely book again. "

"We've had a great time at the house. Super close walk to the lake. Cayaks on site and hot tub made our vacation even better. The lake view from the covered deck is gorgeous even in the rainy day. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are roomy and clean. We addressed few little things about the cleanliness to the owners and they promised to work on that with the cleaning company. Would definitely recommend this place."

"Our Unit was VERY dated....the sheets had good size holes in them, we were there a full week and NEVER had housekeeping ask if we needed any thing, I had to hunt them down for more towels, no sign to put out to ask if the room needed cleaning, it was like a ghost town. The air conditioner was LOUD and the entire property was dated. Definately needs some attention. Comforter on top of the bed was so old, the stuffing inside was clumped up in various large balls, I looked in other rooms through the windows and they did not look like ours. I just feel for the price, it was a bit of a let down. I understand it is waterfront property, but it is in desperate need of an update. "
