"The hotel was great. Not completely amazing but little complaint. If I had to think of areas for improvement, I would say the beach needs to be upgraded to include more sand and activities. The staff in the lobby in the white shirts are being made to try and get people to sign up for a vacation club. The approach should be changed. Maybe add a welcome packet which is left in each room or add a channel to the television that explains-the opportunity. The face to face interaction, persuasion and passive aggression sort of created stress for me and my wife in the middle of our vacation. I would have enjoyed my time more without that interaction. But the people were very nice. Not rude or disrespectful. It just took me away from vacation mode and I did not enjoy the experience. "

"Family friendly, my only issue was with food, one of us allergic to eggs, labels were incorrect and lot of mixing the spoons. Expect better quality from a five star"

"Customer service was great!! Big up Toni-Ann at check in. Need more cleaning staff to main the the rooms and ensure check in time is ontime, I’m not sure if it’s because of the impact of the storm Mellissa that had impacted Jamaica , they are still working to get back on business. Because our phone and tv wasn’t working and little to no effort was made to approach the issue. Limited options at the bar, cocktail wasn’t cocktailing "

"We love this resort! It was our second visit and it is like coming home! The staff is hospitality at the top tier!! So welcoming and friendly! Our butlers were amazing. They kept us updated on the events of the day, which restaurants were available and wanted to do what was needed for us to relax and enjoy. The food at Joia was delicious and good variety. Our lunch favorite is Port Maria, good breakfast buffet and also room service breakfast. Our favorites for dinner were Toscana (Italian) and the Greek over in Selection. We will definitely be back as soon as possible. "
