"Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has...

"Very easy to find. Lovely host Sarah. 2 friendly dogs, Frank n Nim. So relaxing, a small cosy Conversion which is Very clean. Pub/restaurant a short walk via the village. Other restaurants a short drive. "

"Superb property in Church Fenton. Perfectly situated for trips to York, Leeds and other places in Yorkshire. The property itself was high quality and thoughtfully appointed. Will definitely be back to stay, highly recommended."

"Tolle Wohnung und tolle Lage!"

"Big, clean room that was everything I needed for three nights in York. Was able to store my luggage after check-out. Smooth stay :)"

"Love the place."

"Great location, very clean with great facilities and communication with host was excellent"

"This was an outstanding stay! Very comfortable. They had everything you could want/need in a short term rental. I was able to fix several meals in the kitchen with ease. The only hiccup was that the place hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants when we arrived. It was an oversight that was quickly remedied with the cleaning crew arriving soon after we communicated the problem. The host was easy to reach and apologetic. Even with this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this...

"Choose ground or first floor apartment as attic apartment is too hot and windows don't let in enough light. Mirror in bathroom fitted under eaves so too low to see yourself in if you're over 4ft tall. No long mirror in apartment either and bedroom too dark to use mirror over dressing table. Pelmets above windows and blinds hanging slightly below them block light so what little light the windows provide is further obscured by the window dressings. Was told there were only 2 floors so expected to...

"Muy buena ubicación, bonito departamento, pero el wc estaba sucio sin bajarle, unas sábanas con cabellos y no tenía amenidades indispensables cómo shampoo y suficiente papel del baño para solo dos noches. El car Park sugerido costaba más de 100 libras por dos noches, sugerimos el Q Park, misma distancia y mitad de precio"

"This place is good - recently renovated and is in very good condition, nice furnishings. Overall very clean. Had all the basics you need. Fast Wi-Fi. Big fridge. We liked the walk into town along the river - we didn’t need the car all day. Hosts had good comms. Definitely cosy -the place is in a row of small terrace houses- it is small but cute…and very noisy (thump/creaky) when downstairs and someone is walking around upstairs. Impossible to cool the place down in the very hot weather we had....
