"Very nice setting, beautiful beach and garden. The food was delicious and they really care about making gluten free food so we highly recommend this litte paradise.free"
"Such a friendly, laid back vibe in a beautiful setting! It had an incredibly warm social environment that was the product of a strong vision and a great team on staff to foster that kind of spirit. Impeccably well-organized operation at check-in, check-out and meal-times. Beautiful beaches, reefs and hill top views. Wonderful dive center with kind staff giving great marine biology talks and tours in addition to snorkel and scuba trips. Great meals. Such an easy place to make to new friends, but also easy to find quiet solo time at. Just the best--would absolutely stay here again."
"Warm welcome by the staff. Well-organized orientation for all new guests to clarify the unique aspects of the resort.
My waterfront bure was an absolute dream: spacious and lovely. Plus, getting to stretch out on its personalized loungers at the water's edge was sublime. Dive center was friendly and supportive with a wonderfully educational marine biology emphasis. Reef and coral right out front were spectacular. All resort staff members were so friendly and easy-going. I would absolutely return, in a heartbeat. "
"Everything. The Octopus was memorable, relaxing and welcoming. From the charming bures to cheerful service. And the beauty of the water is unsurpassed. "
"Absolutely amazing homestay! The hospitality was fabulous, with generous and delicious portions and the family was so welcoming. The views and ocean were absolutely stunning and the hike was incredible with some truly beautiful scenery. The kids were lovely to spend time with, so well-mannered and a joy to get to know. The accommodation is simple and basic, but very comfortable and excellent value for money. Overall, such a special and memorable experience. Highly recommend!"
"Amazing amenities and rooms in a lovely location, great spa/massages. One of the best restaurants on the Yasawa islands.
The only thing I would criticize is the lack of a clean water tank to refill reusable bottles. I don't want to buy plastic bottles on a small island and add to the pollution of the world."
"antastic place to spend your time.
Mantaray Island about 3.5 hours from the main island in Fiji in the Yasawa Island group, is a beautiful little hamlet of paradise.
I spent 5 nights in a Reef Bure (With AC) an was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and general upkeep. The outdoor bathroom is an absolute highlight with its 3 different light/mood settings at night. The Bure itself was also only 12 step from the beach with its beautiful torquay blue water.
Great snorkeling is on offer straight off the beach (High tide only) and a lovely hotel pool for low tide.
The Restaurant served amazing meals on a set menu that changed every 2 day’s (B,L,D) and during the day you can swap your lunch meal for a pizza by the pool if you like, the resort also offers diving (Which I didn’t do this time) and a Spa that offers a limited but good range of massages.
The Hotel is a cashless hotel, so you don’t need to have a wallet full of cash like I had.
Overall this is a very good 4 star operation in the Yasawa group, and I am definitely looking to come back in July-September next year when the Mantaray swim past the Island.

"We had a lovely time at Bill and Paula's homestay. Super friendly family, our kids had the best time with their adopted pets and new friends.
Can't wait to go back!"
