"Thoroughly enjoyed our 4th stay at this cabin. We love it here! Cabin is very clean & comfortable (heated floors are a dream) on a beautiful property. Tomas was quick in responding to any questions we had. Kids had a blast sledding and playing in the snow. Even went fishing one day. So sweet of the hosts to have sleds and fishing poles available for our enjoyment. Can’t wait to come back! "

"An absolutely perfect stay and very accommodating hosts. I stayed here for an avalanche class located at little Truckee Summit OHV park. The drive from the bunk house to class was easy and wonderful. There is a general store nearby with great breakfast and even steaks for dinner. Even with the very cold temps, the bunkhouse is warm, comfortable and has the BEST blankets and sheets. It is very spacious and gives plenty of room to spread all equipment, school work, and personal belongings out. The coffee was wonderful each morning and the roosters are the alarm clock. Please note, you do have to climb stairs to stay in the bunk house, but they are worth the climb every day! Views are beautiful with all the farm animals around. We would absolutley stay with this nice family again! "

"We are so glad we chose this property for our Reno stay! Photos are accurate - it's lovely - a somewhat older home, but with extremely tasteful/upscale upgrades throughout. It's not an overly large 3 bedroom, but has a very spacious feel. The kitchen is compact, but has a pantry & cupboards, well-stocked with nice dishes & cookware, but also with some empty shelf-space for guests' items. The bedrooms offered above-average storage-space & comfy beds. In short, it's a very well appointed home - GREAT attention has been taken to make it guest-functional, unlike some properties that appear to be someone's over-stuffed second home, where guests' needs are an afterthought. Front door access & the thermostat were both user friendly - praise God! Host Michael is terrific - prompt, attentive, kind and very helpful! We enjoyed walking our dogs around the neighborhood (not posh, but felt safe) & trails, and relaxing around the freestanding fire pit. There is no patio cover, but the house itself provided ample shade most of the day. The backyard isn't overly large, but is fully fenced - a big hit with our dogs. It was nice to be able to park in the garage. Location was great - near the hills, out of the downtown hustle-n-bustle, yet an easy drive to all our destinations. We look forward to returning next year!"
