Downtown Vacations

"It was warm in the hall of the 4th floor, but the room was perfect. My husband enjoyed the pool too. We chose the hotel because we could easily walk to the Amphitheater."

"The hotel is very well maintained with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. You can see Bryant Denny from there as well as downtown Tuscaloosa. Location was great for downtown Tuscaloosa, you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and nice. Answered our questions with a lot of info. Has valet parking but we didn't need it for a June visit. Short drive to UofA campus, but probably not walkable."

"The staff were nice enough. Our room was very clean. But our first night our air conditioner rattled and kept me up all night. The next morning we let them know about it, they had someone come look at it after we left. When we arrived back our room was 78 degrees and they had it set on 67. We told them the air was now quiet but it wasn’t working. The maintenance man came back and he changed out the entire AC unit and we left again. When we got back around 10:30 that night it was still 78 degrees...
