"Upkeep is good: everything feels bright and new. Breakfast is better than normal: they provide hard boiled eggs and real “fried egg pancakes”, unlike other places where scrambled eggs are processed egg like “things” with plenty of starch. Sausages and meat paddies were good as well. Staff was helpful. Only complaint: the bathtub drain was half clogged. Other than that, all was very satisfactory."

"We were told that the property was being renovated and the renovation is almost complete. It would have been nice to have a "renovated" room. The room we got definitely needed renovated (burn mark on tub, wallpaper pealing, stains on carpet, cracks in kitchen tiles, vents were very dirty/dusty). We had a 2 night stay and they didn't clean our room at all. When we went to the front desk to ask for clean towels, we were given clean towels right away, but they didn't even apologize or...

"Property is down a side street away from the busy road. Secluded, private and quiet. Breakfast was adequate, nothing very special. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to avoid the motel atmosphere and stay in a home ."

"This was a very nice hotel. We only had one issue. The refrigerator in our room made a noise like an alien breathing most of the night. The noise would stop at 5 a.m. for a few hours, but it was consistent for the rest of the day."
