My husband and I booked The Public because we were in town for NY Design week on a work trip, and although we expected the room to be small we didn't expect everything else to be sub-par. "Absolutely loved my stay here, my husband and I just got back home from our trip and loved this hotel. The hotel location is perfect for easy transportation since it is inside grand central, it was so nice walking from our room out the lobby and directly into grand central to get on the subway without even going outside. Had a great view from the room too! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and spacious especially for NYC. Also really loved the endless hot water...
