"Pros: The host was very friendly and nice. Very well located and really clean house. Really nice to have a washing machine and a dishwasher. Cons: The kitchen was a bit too small even for two persons. No curtains nor blinds in the bedrooms. It was a bit noisy when cars were passing by but fortunately the street was mostly pedestrian"

"Pros: Renovated apartment with air conditioning, visually very nicely furnished. The location is also good, most restaurants in the village are within walking distance. It is a short drive from the apartment to Cala Ganone. All in all it was a nice stay. Cons: The kitchen was sadly not as well equipped as hoped, for cooking some utensils were unfortunately no longer really usable and kitchen knives were missing."

"We were absolutely elated by this place! Cala Gonone exceeded our expectations in terms of a beautiful coastal area that isn't mobbed like some other portions of Italy. Hotel Miramare is beautiful and right next to the beach. Parking was a little unclear and we got a ticket, so be aware of parking rules and finding a spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful with many suggestions. Our room was fantastic - complete with TWO balconies. The south balcony was a bit warm for our tastes but the east balcony (facing the beach) was shady and comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We asked for extra pillows, which they promptly brought to us. We enjoyed the outdoor grill for dinner one night and really enjoyed the preparations. The breakfast buffet in the morning had all of the fruits, meats, perfectly-prepared eggs and pastries we could hope for, and the staff graciously let us get an early start on breakfast the morning we rented a boat. The atmosphere throughout was light, clean and uplifting, enhanced by the ultra-friendly staff. It's not even a question that we will return here on our next trip to Sardinia."
