"Homely Stay with Beautiful Sunrise We had a wonderful stay! The host welcomed us personally and even baked fresh muffins for us. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable for our family of four. The bedsheets were incredibly soft, and both the bed and sofa bed were cozy. We loved the beautiful sunrise views, scenic running routes, and nearby amenities. It was 5 mins drive from Lake Plitvice Entrance 1. Overall, a relaxing and homely stay."

There were nearby places that you could go out to eat just a short drive away. And a small supermarket and bar within walking distance. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. "We had a wonderful stay at Rustic Lodge! The lodge itself and rooms are stunning with all the woodwork and attention to details! An absolutely perfect and incredibly beautiful "Rustic Lodge" in a peaceful, rural area! Food was very good- we ate dinner and had fresh trout and a delicious mushroom soup! The waitress was ever so kind and fillet my fish for me! (Dinner~ 4 course meal approx $25 euro pp) The continental breakfast had lots of great options and they cook you eggs too-($12 euro pp) Location about a 10-15 min drive to entrance 2 then and to 1! Highly recommend!! A wonderful experience!!"

"An exceptionally well maintained property with a friendly staff in a great location. If you're going to Plitvice National Park, I'd strongly recommend this property. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk into the park through gate 3. The staff was committed to helping every guest get the most out of their trip, going over routes and making suggestions using their very large map. We were also pleasantly surprised at how large and well appointed the rooms were. Like probably every other B&B in the area, they have their own restaurant. It's much more convenient than driving 10-15 minutes to the nearby village. The menu is limited, but the food is good. One final comment. You definitely want to purchase your park entrance tickets in advance, especially between May and the end of September. We got the two day pass and thought it was perfect. The Cottage staff will even help you with this."

"Zoran and his family were excellent hosts! helpful with every inquiry and always prepared to help. The villa is a 10min walk from entrance number 3 to the Lakes (near a boat stop), which makes their location ideal to stay! The breakfast is amazing and the dinner options are delightful and fair; no need to drive your car anywhere once you reach the villa. Would recommend to anyone."

"Staff was very helpful. Room was nice, beds comfortable. Great place to stay, so convenient to visit the lake. Breakfast and dinner was good. Liked that we got a second day stamped by the hotel for our second day visit. Had all the toiletries needed . Hotel bar and the patio bar were good."

"This was a lovely location and the family running it was friendly. Appreciated that the parking was organized by room to ensure everyone had a spot. Most unfortunately you had to pay cash if paying at the property which we did not realize in advance. This left us scrambling as we do not travel with a large amount of cash. Be aware of this when booking or you may have to pay expensive ATM fees. There were also additional rules around food in the room that we did not see on the “House rules” section of their website but that were posted at the property, something to keep in mind as well. The property is small and cozy, which does leave you at the mercy of the other guests around you if they are noisy which was unfortunately the case for us. In the future the property owners said we should have called them and would recommend doing that if you have a similar experience."
