"Last minute decision to stay overnight and a decision well made. Great room with easy access. Breakfast buffet was really good and plentiful. We arrived around 15:00 and were met by the lovely smell of curry which we didn’t try but the menu seemed to be comprehensive. The last time I was in the lion was 41 years ago so it has changed massively but I was so impressed I have booked another longer stay."

"We only stopped for one night, our room was ok rear view, everything worked it was clean and tidy and for the price all good. Just no parking at the premises paid £10 for a day and evening."
