She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. "Staff was wonderful hot food like scrambled eggs were buffet style and not hot all other breakfast options were very good. Air conditioning in the room annoying, it shut off every couple of hours while sleeping and had to be turned back on. The pillows sucked."

"This hotel is a gem in the heart of Trieste, Italy. We stayed here 2 nights prior to a cruise. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and quiet with a great shower. The staff in the hotel were helpful and kind (and patient) and the breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee. It was conveniently located so we could wander for a few hours and go back to our room for a short rest (it was very hot). We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and if we are ever here again, we would not hesitate to book this lovely hotel."

"One of the front office staff (he was well dressed and personable) was very helpful telling us how to walk to the War Memorial Redipuglia. It was extremely beautiful and humbling. Also we had to leave before the beautiful 5 am breakfast started and the morning front staff gentleman let us grab a croissant before we left. So kind!"

"The hotel itself very well maintained and looks classy. The staff on reception were very helpful. The room was a reasonable size and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was large and the shower was adequate. The hotel is quite a walk from the railway station but isn't too far from the historic sites. Breakfast was good and held in a stunning room. The girl running the breakfast room was very helpful and was very friendly."
