"Location, Location, Location. Hotel is directly across the street from the West End Beach. The hotel supplies Loungers and towels, which is great. If there was one thing they could improve on, it's the Breakfast. After the first day, i brought it to the attention of the very nice server that it could have been better. I ordered the American Breakfast.....so they made it better by adding another egg and more potatoes for my second one. I don't eat bacon and that is why they added the extra egg.... If you don't say anything, they won't do anything. That is the way of Honduras. But that is minor compared to how much I enjoyed getting away for two days. Beautiful Location and very reasonably priced. I recommend it. And for those who drive, there is parking as well."

"The rooms are very clean for the environment they are located. Yes some paint may be needed, but being on the coast some wear and weather conditions will be present. I loved the layout of the facility, bar, beach, and overall compound. The staff, Fernanda in the office, and Francesca with overall concerns were EXCELLENT and I commend their friendliness and professionalism. The were very accommodating and went way beyond to make my stay great. You have two excellent employees in these two ladies. If you have employee of the month I would like to nominate them!! Breakfast was very good and I tired the American and traditional. The bar personnel offered very good service and checked on me during all the meals. The beach area was very clean every morning by hotel staff. Close to airport too. If you want a cabana to rent and not a high rise condo for a better personal contact with locals and staff, I love this place."

"We had a very nice stay at Media Luna Resort. The property is beautiful, rustic, and surrounded by nature, which makes it feel like you are truly in the middle of the jungle. The resort is quite isolated, but that was actually one of the things we enjoyed the most. It is incredibly peaceful and quiet, with a private beach where you can really disconnect, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful rustic style that fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the resort. We also enjoyed the buffet, which had enough variety and different options throughout our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, but we especially want to recognize Andrea from Guest Relations and Tyron. They were both incredibly helpful and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Andrea went above and beyond to make our stay special. She helped us organize an anniversary dinner and even arranged a beautiful decoration in our room, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the occasion even more memorable. She was always kind, attentive, approachable, and genuinely willing to help in any way she could. Tyron was also wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Andrea and Tyron for making our stay even better!"

"Incredible views and very friendly staff that went out of their way to make us feel special. Food was amazing and fresh. They have their own boat and we took a personalized snorkeling trip that was the best. Can’t speak highly enough of the resort and staff- we can’t wait to come back and bring our family"

"Let me say, the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 is simply because we could feel the racism from the staff as Honduran-Americans over more “American” looking guests. It was very hurtful and did not make me feel comfortable as a guest in the hotel. Other than that, the place itself is beyond gorgeous and when my family and I were alone swimming we had lots of fun. The kayak staff was incredibly friendly though and an amazing person! I would recommend staying here but be aware that unless you’re speaking in English, lots of staff including the snack shop cashier and the receptionist will treat you like they’re annoyed at your mere presence."
