"My husband and I had a great stay at Victory Villa. The room as recently renovated, comfortable, and very clean. The host who met us was very friend and informative. He communicated directly and what to expect when driving to Victory Villa. The road getting up there isn't great, but totally doable in a car whether day or night. For someone with major passenger anxiety, I didn't particularly enjoy the drive. However, it was well worth it once we reached."

"Positives - The staff was very friendly and helpful
The free breakfast- it shocked us all, as both the quantity and quality exceeded our expectations.
The rooms were spacious, adequate and clean. The grounds and property were also very well maintained, keep it up. A memorable view of the sunrise/sunset from your room/balcony and also the beach. Too bad we were not able to bathe due to the Sargassum.
Negatives - Our 2nd day, got up, no water, staff took too
rectify the problem. Kindly...

"The home is very comfortable with a terrific bathroom space. Location is walking distance to the airport and minutes away from crown point.
I do highly recommend the folllowing:
Regular pest control and ensure cleaning crew does a walk through before house is occupied by guests. The communication and access is too troubling when traveling long hours to get to the place. There needs to be clear, easy instructions since guests are likely not locals so the less difficulty the better. The house...

"The owners and staff were warm, welcoming and always willing to help. Very nice people. Loved that they had recycle bins throughout the property and separate bins in the villas for organics and other materials. The property and trails were beautiful, the flowers, plants, fish pond and ducks were nice to see. There were lots of birds to see and hear. Overall a great place and cant wait to go back."

"Para Sol Villa was a wonderful home from home in Tobago. It was exceptionally well located for good supermarkets and the best beaches - something we had previously struggled with when we stayed in Speyside. The view from the patio was absolutely breathtaking, and we spent many hours just drinking it in, and also watching the gorgeous hummingbirds that visited the feeders on the patio. Our host, Maria, was exceptional. She contacted me several weeks before the holiday, to proactively suggest various things we could be doing to make our holiday even better. She made us feel welcome and that we could ask her anything. If we ever had a problem, Maria was concerned to fix it immediately. For example, the extremely well stocked kitchen did not have a tin opener. We informed Maria of this and she sent someone over that evening with a brand new tin opener. And she made sure to give us local information, such as when shops close and nice beaches that we might want to go to.The villa was beautiful, and was really comfortable. It had an excellent washer and dryer, actually hidden behind a false wall, which is why it doesn’t appear in any of the photos of the villa. Similarly, there was really excellent clothes storage in the bedroom, which also doesn’t feature in the official photos. We had two wardrobes and two chests of drawers and abundant provision of clothes hangers. You will have a wonderful holiday if you stay here. We certainly did!"
"Although the facility is a bit dated, they maintained it very well. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very attentive. The gardens are beautifully manicured; the view of the ocean is priceless - location is perfect for easy access to the island activities. Daily breakfast was quite a variety. The most outstanding part of service was the prompt attention of staff to secure our room with additional inner latches so that our autistic son could not open the doors easily on his own. I hope to return soon."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Rooms and all the grounds were kept very clean and tidy. The staff was quickly responsive and friendly with all our needs. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool area was pristine for relaxing and swimming. although the restaurant only served breakfast (restaurant was not open lunch & dinner) and the swim up bar inside the pool was not open, staff was readily available at the bar, which is right next to the pool. Staff assisted us with their corporate WiFi use, so we had WiFi service on all the grounds (rooms included). The tennis courts are not kept up too well - there are some cracks that have been patched & some that haven’t. (We still managed to play some light tennis on them without much issue.)
The place is “outdated,” as stated in reviews I read prior. However this did not mean dirty, non-functioning or uncomfortable.
There are several restaurants in walking distance & the direct access to a very quiet beach was amazing. We would definitely return."
