"Wow - What a place! The only negative is that after staying here, no future property will ever match the view. Beyond that, the villa is genuinely impressive, offering a bright, open lounge‑diner‑kitchen space and everything is to a high standard. The host Julia, greeted us in the early hours of the morning (after our flight was delayed) to welcome us with wine and fruit and from then on both she and George became our friendly neighbours who live just downstairs. Despite the language barrier we got on well and communicated by whatsapp to make things easier. The location is wonderfully peaceful: Eratini is only about five minutes away, Galaxidi around twenty, but there are no major towns or large supermarkets nearby. However, with such an amazing view you don't feel the need to go anywhere. The 5m pool is great to cool off there's a few local cats keen to keep you company and couple of friendly pet dogs that like you to say hi when passing. The BBQ was not available due to local fire risk laws but we found the Katina tavern took orders on Whatsapp for take away - great food and incredible value as were all the local restaurants we tried. Galaxidi was beautiful would also recommend the Trizona Island and hiring a boat there, that was a lot of fun.We would certainly consider returning, though now that we've been, next time we would likely stay for a week and then move on to a busier location for the second part of the trip."
