Clean, convenient location near bus stops, large and roomy, great views. Main bedroom bed is super comfy. The restaurant on site can be bit loud but the food was good. Would stay again.

Great spot! Close to a gas station to get snacks and drinks and a short ride from downtown. Huge space great WIFI overall great experience.

Amazing ocean views from the patio, deck and living room! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equiped.At first I was annoyed when we saw the restaurant was open on the ground floor of the house. But turns out the people are friendly, the food was great, and turned out to be a plus. Try the jerk chicken!The host was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others do.

Excellent view and snorkeling right off the rocks. Easy access to buses and rail trail. Short walk into Flats. “Live like local” experience and would definitely visit again.

This house is OLD and OUT DATED. For example, in the kitchen…there is no garbage disposal, NO HOT WATER, and no dishwasher. Instead of a dish washer, there’s a giant empty hole where one used to be.

First, I read a few negative reviews about this property before I came and I just want to set the record straight. 1. The property does share a location with a restaurant, however unlike one review said the back patio and rocks that go down to the water are still very private. We checked in on a Saturday and we had no issues with noise or anything from the restaurant.2. The property is much larger than the photos seem. Myself, my wife, our 4yr old all shared the two bedroooms/1 bathroom on the first floor. This honestly felt like its own separate place. My 2 friends came along and they shared the upstairs bedroom/bathroom. There was also an air mattress, the couch and some other places that could have been shared. We never felt like we were on top of each other and truly loved this house.This house was much more than we expected. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly. The restaurant had awesome food and had great hours for when you needed a quick drink or bite to eat. The water by the house was super relaxing and a great way to start/end the day. We left a couple pool noodles and those were clutch for floating down by the house. We couldn't have been happier with the experience from check in to check out. Thank you for making this such an incredible vacation.

Great Stay

My family just returned from 4 nights at this property. It had everything we needed to make it a great stay. The property was clean, well air conditioned and the views were amazing. Bring water shoes for trips down to the water. Transportation from the house to various spots on the island is very expensive so prepare for that. Our host was very responsive. Bermudians are some of the nicest people out there. Great stay!

The pros: Awesome view and pleasant and comfortable and spacious common spaces. Overall cleanliness was good.Cons: It is pretty buried in the description but this unit is above a busy restaurant. The deck in front of the ocean is not private for you and your family. When we arrived it was filled with two large outdoor grills smoking away, many dining customers at tables, and the driveway with cars and motorcycles going in and out. The restaurant is very noisy until midnight on the weekends. Its pretty ridiculous for the "house rules" to state that we are not to make too much noise when music is blasting from the kitchen below. The restaurant kitchen also makes the master bedroom above it very warm. Thankfully the restaurant at least has good food and nice people. There is no hot water in the kitchen, which makes difficult to wash the dishes. There is an oven, but not a single dish to cook anything in the oven with! We had to borrow a cooking sheet from the restaurant. There weren't any food prepping knives to cut up vegetables or meat, just a single bread knife. They provided very little toilet paper for 6 people for four five days and four nights, no shower soap and only an empty hand soap container in the upstairs bathroom, necessitating us to purchase extra toilet paper and soap. Additionally, there is a dangerous and ugly pit behind the house filled with construction debris. This place has the potential to be so much better!

Great waterside house

We stayed for a week at the property. It is right on the water with stunning views of the ocean and island. located close to Hamilton and situated in the middle of the island. John was a wonderful host and property was comfortable and clean.

Perfect location and amazing views!

The views were amazing, the location was perfect and John (owner) was wonderful! He even offered to take us to the grocery store shortly after we arrived. Not to mention delicious food at The Flame restaurant (John runs) connected to the home was perfect after a long day of traveling or sight seeing.

Fantastic location!!

This house is right on the water and an easy bus ride to anywhere on the island!!! The host John lives on the property and is a pleasure to deal with and talk to. He was very receptive to the few needs we had. The view and sunsets were incredible!!! Would highly recommend this property and we will be back to stay in the future!!!

Awesome View

The house had a great view, was comfortable, in a great area. We always felt safe. Bus stop in front of the shop was perfect, but was actually in the road. We waited for the bus in a driveway near the stop.This is an older house and right on the water causing it to need a lot of maintenance. I enjoyed it, but in all honesty it needed some love and attention. I was decorating it in my mind.

Girls getaway

John was a wonderful host and very helpful. The house is in a beautiful location right on the water. The bus stop across the street was very convenient. The only complaint is that the house needs some TLC. Some light bulbs were out. There was some rust on appliances, in the bathrooms and on the outdoor furniture.

Golf Trip Stay

This property has a stunning location, with beautiful ocean views. Although the outside patio area was vast and allowed for enjoyment of the view, the downside was that there was debris and construction items scattered around. Also, the property was in a state of disrepair and looked neglected.Inside the home was no better, with old furnishings and decorations that seemed to be cobbled together haphazardly. The refrigerator was leaking water on the floor, and the kitchen sink had no hot water. Best thing about this property is clearly the ocean setting and view.

Phenomenal location in a big house

You can walk down a few stairs and get into the crystal-clear water and see a ton of sea life only feet from the front door. Bring your snorkeling gear. There are bus stops right by the house and an incredibly tasty restaurant literally next door, so the location is pretty convenient. It's in a quiet area, but it's not far from Hamilton. There's a full kitchen, laundry, 3 big bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The house needs a *little* work outside, but John the owner knows this and is working on a ton of stuff. Great for a small group of people. Eat in the large dining room, outside on the porch overlooking the water - your choice!

Can't wait to go back!!

My wife and I stayed here four nights celebrating our 15 yr anniversary. I can't say enough about how nice and accommodating Jennifer was and how beautiful the views are. After arranging a ride for us from the airport to the house, Jennifer drive us in her personal vehicle to the Twizy agency so we could rent an electric car. She even got up early one morning to make us lunch to take on our offshore fishing trip!! The Bermuda fish sandwich at Flame is amazing! Everyone on the island seemed to know the Seymours. Bermuda is a wonderful place and staying here made it even better. We are already planning a return trip. Lenny and Nancy Piech

Stunning views

This apartment has absolutely stunning views. The apartment is large so the 6 of us had lots of space.We had a few small problems that John had sorted with in a day, he was so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The only down side was the aircon in the upstairs bedroom wasn’t working. John had fitted one in the window but it was too loud to use at night so the room was unbearable hot.. once this is sorted it will a lovely bedroom with sea views.Also the rope ladder going down to the water isn’t there as it’s rotten, it wasn’t a problem for the rest of my family but I found it to difficult to get out of the water which was a shame.You could see fish and we also saw a couple of turtles from the apartment balcony which was just amazing.It’s an amazing property and it’s just stunning….Bus stops are outside for both directions which is so handy.Well worth a stay.

Beautiful Home

We stayed at this property in June 2022. The home is on the most beautiful piece of property in Bermuda. My 4 kids ages 7-16 enjoyed snorkeling right outside of the house and fishing. John meet us during check in and was a great host. The air conditioner in the den/kitchen was broken but the ones in the bedrooms were working. It wasn't too big of a deal bc we were gone most of the day anyway. The bus line is right outside the house. My kids were fine walking on the streets without sidewalks and a lot of cars but might not be ideal if you have little ones. We would gladly go back and stay here again! Best view in Bermuda!
