Very nice and convenient

this is an excellent place to stay if you have an event to attend in downtown Detroit. Vera was very easy to deal with and made our stay enjoyable.

Great house. Quiet neighborhood. We stayed her for Pistons game. Great location. Very clean

Will stay again!

Our visit was fantastic.it was more than accommodating. We had a little trouble with the smart lock at first we're not very techy but vera was easy to contact and walked me through the steps.will definitely stay again!

Spacious and Comfortable

My family stayed the night in Detroit to celebrate my parents anniversary. The house was large enough to accommodate 9 people, clean and had the needed amenities. It was exactly what we needed! And we had a great visit.

Great house for a trip to Detroit

I took my family and my fiancée's family to a Tigers game. This house was just a few miles from the stadium and had enough beds for all of us. Much better than a hotel. The attic room was quite hot when we arrived, but after discovering the second thermostat in the master bedroom we were able to cool it down.

Exceptional Host and Home

My experience with Vera and staying in her home was amazing. She was extremely pleasant, helpful and prompt. Vera was so sweet to accommodate me and my family with the arrangements we had planned. She communicated well and her property is just as beautiful in person. The home was also stocked with everything you may need during your stay. It was very clean and I loved how well lit the home was. Overall next time when I come back home to visit I definitely will be booking with Vera again.

Easy to and from Ford Field

Stayed (1) night for Detroit Lions Monday night football. Quick and easy Uber both to and from Ford Field. Very large house. Great communication with the owner. Awesome, private backyard area - did not use, but would definitely appreciate in warmer weather. Easy home entry. Would definitely stay again for any upcoming Detroit activities. Seemed like a safe neighborhood.

Quick Weekend w/ Friends

Overall a pleasant experience. Enjoyed cards and catching up at the large dining room table. Poor weather prevented us from hanging out on the porch (we brought our own camp chairs - not too much outdoor seating available). Nice kitchen with many appliances, but bring your own ice. Would be nice if there was a bathroom downstairs. 3/5 for neighborhood (had no issues), but just not very walkable to much and grass could’ve use a mow

Family - 2 night Trip (Detroit)

Overall, the home was very nice. The lawn did need to be cut as the grass was overgrown in the front and backyard. The neighborhood was quiet. There was preexisting damage to the furniture caused by other guests that were not fixed prior to my arrival. Issues were brought to the owner’s attention and a quick response of acknowledgement was received.

Incredible Stay

The property was well lit and I liked the fact that there were cameras as well. The neighborhood seems to be close knit as I was asked if I could move my car for a woman who lived next door who comes home late for work. It made the area more appealing in my opinion. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was more space than needed! When I had questions they were promptly answered and when my friend couldn't get inside we got help immediately. I will note, some ppl may not like the area however, Detroit is well Detroit lol. I've visited many times and this property is in a safe area and close to downtown. I will recommend this place to others and if needed book again.

Unpleasant stay

The house is not well maintained. For a group of 5 we were given 3 bath towels and no hand or face towels. BBQ grill was gross and unusable. Great coffee maker available but no coffee to be found. Not sufficient lawn chairs in backyard. Heating control for bedrooms upstairs is terrible. Checked out after one of two nights stay. Tried to contact Vera with my feedback and she never responded. I would have appreciated some level of refund for what my group experienced.

Horrible experience

My three sisters, parents, and newborn came to we drove hours to see a hockey game for my parents birthday. We get there and the pin they gave us to check in doesn’t work so we tried contacting owner. They do not respond after several attempts to call them. At this point we are forced to call Vrbo and they contact the host only to tell us that we are unable to stay due to damages on the property so we stood out in the freezing cold for over 20 minutes on hold with our whole family and newborn trying to get into this rental property only to be told, we have to find other accommodations. We were given no heads or up warning before driving 2+ hours to stay here. Vrbo was helpful and refunded us and reimbursed us for a place to stay however, it was extremely difficult to find another place to stay so last minute. We almost missed our event because of this incident. Horrible experience, host really could’ve let us know way sooner- like before check in.
