Our cozy, beautiful four-bedroom home sits less than a 8-minute drive from downtown Birmingham and all of its fantastic restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and more! Relax in our open floor-plan living and dining room, watch a movie in our quiet basement entertainment/ living room, and entertain on our gorgeous outdoor seating area in the back yard, complete with string lights, a gas grill, plenty of seating and a hot tub! Our home also features a custom desk with a dual-monitor setup perfect for Work-from-home! Our home is located on Coolidge Hwy close to Birmingham Country Club, Crestview park (with two public tennis courts, a play area, and plenty of room to run around for the kids!), and also a quick drive to Royal Oak, Berkley, Ferndale, and Beaumont Hospital this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!

With just a few steps to the front door, our home offers two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, along with the living room and kitchen. Access to the deck and jacuzzi are also on this level from one of the bedrooms. The basement features an additional two bedrooms plus a full bathroom, living room, and laundry room with 2 sets of washers and dryers.

Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 4:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!

Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforter, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout drapes in each bedroom.

In addition to four queen beds, we have a queen size air mattress too if needed! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:

We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.

We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

Parking

We have a garage that can fit 1 car and our driveway can fit 2 - 3 cars as well (but would block the garage).

Entry

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the garage access door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.

When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.

Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

This house is perfectly located for access to downtown Birmingham as well as Royal Oak and nearby cities including Clawson and Ferndale. The house is also only a thirty-minute drive to Michigan Avenue and all of Detroit’s best amenities.

House Rules

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:

- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Guests use hot tub at their own risk.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
- NO fireworks allowed

Getting Around

While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Birmingham/Royal Oak/Ferndale and Plymouth/Northville/Canton areas!
