"Our room was near the pools and lagoon which meant easy access. There were lots of free activities offered, some of which were in the large outdoor pool if you wanted to join in. The staff were very friendly, helpful and seemed to be happy to be working at the Marriott no matter what they were doing...and had beautiful singing voices which we often heard if a celebration was held or a person was leaving. The breakfast offered a large, varied selection of food for all nationalities to choose...

"Place, it's great if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing time, and if you are ok with booking activities offered by the resort on the island. Otherwise, you will have to pay for transportation every time a boat is needed, and you will have to coordinate with other boats and jump from one to the other in the water, which could be fun, scary, or impossible for others. "This is the third time we have stayed at The Outrigger Fiji. It is just lovely! The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. If you have children, they will be entertained for hours and if you do not have children there is the adults only pool area plus the layout of the grounds, restaurants etc are such that you do not feel on top of each other and certainly have your own space!"

As our flight wasn’t until the night time, we were able to store our bags while exploring Nadi. "Last year, I booked to go back before I left the Island. This place is truly wonderful. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, the pool is beautiful, the beach is lovely. Snorkelling was great off the beach, the Hobie cat boats were fun, kayaking great. The snorkel to Taverua is a must to see the Turtles. The rooms are a great size and well kept. Linen is nice and fresh white. The couples massage was ahhh-mazing. This was our second visit and I can’t fault it."
