"This hotel looks amazing from the pictures but the stay is quite different. The property is quite old, and the rooms are an anex part of the property- not in the actual castle itself. Clean enough, staff was very friendly but a bit deceiving from what is shown here. Updates beyond needed"

"It was good family room for one night stay. It is just a little far from Edinburgh city - we had a Rental car so it was fine."

"Great, if you just need a decent place to sleep for a night. Parking right outside our window."

"Good friendly staff"

"Property itself is decent and the location works well if you’re driving. However, the staff attitude and housekeeping standards were disappointing for a Premier Inn. I stayed for 3 nights with my family and the room was never properly cleaned once. I requested housekeeping twice — each time they came and simply remade the bed with the same used sheets and left the same used towels. No linen change, no fresh towels, nothing replaced. "Absolute gem of a location. Room was the most functional we've encountered in the UK in years...water was hot quickly and didn't vary, bed was perfect and the view was amazing (picture frame of the bridges over the Forth). Staff was also very attentive, friendly and keen to help at every turn. To round off this stay, the breakfasts and dinners were also first rate! Highly recommend the Orroco."

I stayed again at the end of August & had an evening meal only this time there was a ‘service’ charge of 10% added. I challenged this only to be told “it is on the menu”. It was not ‘on the menu’. The charge was returned but why was it there to start with & nothing to alert you to what I was later told was a discretionary payment! The receptionist on each visit was fantastic. The restaurant...

"Plenty parking, rooom good with the puroses of an overnight stay for one person. Small and ample. Friendly reception staff at check in."

"Value for money"

"يومين للراحة"

"The hotel is clean, the staff are pleasant. If you are expecting luxury then book somewhere else. This was a business trip and I wanted to see what the hotel was like and I was impressed."
