"Thoughtfully designed deluxe tree hut which would rival some 5-star hotels. We had a lovely stay among the trees & birdsong in the morning. Short walk to all local amenities. We’ll be back!"

"Very nice place. Nothing to complain about. Coffee was good…and FREE!"

"Excellent"

"I loved being able to walk out to the beach out my door. Everything was clean and comfortable. Heated towel racks and floor was a bonus. Reception was super nice!"

"Nice stay. The room was small but we were only there one night. Watch out for the little mob if chickens lol."

"Lovely stay in the Rainforest motel. Andy is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We sadly, were only there for one night, as we were passing through on our way to Queenstown, however if we are lucky enough to return to NZ we would definitely stay here for a few nights. The property is comfortable, clean and the unit we had was updated and had a great new bathroom / wet room. The whole motel complex has such a relaxed feel about it and we have no doubt recommending it as a great place to...

"The 2 bedroom family room was small and sparse but cozy. The heated beds were a plus and the lodge was easily walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, and the Fox Glacier HeliTours office. The office had games and puzzles to loan for rainy days. Room was clean and beds were comfy"

"Clean, simple and warm with everything you need. We stayed in a double room which had an ensuite, small fridge and jug. The mattress was quite hard though."

"Had everything we needed, clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff"

"The hotel was nice with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms provided good heating and was a comfortable stay."

"Wonderful property very unique"

"For a 340nzd/night hotel, totally unacceptable. It appears someone might be fixing or cleaning it, but the job is unfinished and it was left open. * The room's air conditioner was incredibly loud and made a constant, rapid ticking noise while running. When I...

"Great location, very helpful staff and great view of the sunset. Beds were comfortable. Great stay"

"Staff friendly enough however when we went to ask some more information questions the office was closed, even though their office hours indicated they would be open! Room comfortable, warm & quiet. Handy to walk anywhere in town. A nice stay"

"Staff were great, just a typical enjoyable kiwi campsite."

"When I asked for a quiet room due to sleeping disorder, the staff kindly accommodated my request by upgrading our room. The man was very helpful."
