"Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the room was very dated & a bit shabby. Run down tables, curtains, and walls. Peeling paint & wallpaper. Rusty nails & exposed wall coverings. However, for a quick family getaway, it was fine. The inside pool was freezing, but the hot tub was great. Elevators were good. There was a class reunion holding an event there, so it was a bit busier than expected for the offseason. The restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. We never had an opportunity to...

"We really enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning! The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and balcony had a great view."

"Exceptional service"

"The room is in terrible disrepair. The sinks were old and cracked, there was clear water damage to the wall in the bathroom and the cabinet below the sink. The laminant was pealing. The carpeting was worn and dirty. The bureau in the room was scratched and falling apart. I am shocked that they would have anyone stay in the room. When I mentioned this at check-out the woman at the desk said, "I know, I wouldn't stay in the hotel rooms myself. Next time try a condo unit" If they know the...

"Had a great overnight trip. I will be back soon hopefully the elevator is fixed then."

"I very much appreciated the way the staff treated us, they were first-class. Wifi outages on Sept. 30 and October 1 we are seniors and don’t do the nightlife. We watch tv and go to bed. The paperwork at the spa can be transitioned to tablets. When using multiple days the info would self populate. A handhold at the front of the tub, we are seniors and have balance issues getting in and out of the tub. Or better yet convert the tubs to walk-in showers. I mean who takes a bath when one is at a spa."

"This is a beautiful location with sprawling, clean and well maintained grounds. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The pool was clean and very relaxing. We walked the paths around the property and played pickleball. Everything felt luxurious. The only downside were we had to wait in line for over half an hour to check in. Also, I put in a housekeeping request for more facecloths which were never brought."

"Nice"

"I loved the oceanfront room!!! The only thing I didn't like was being able to hear the noises from the room beside us."

"There were amps in our room even after they changed our room. There was ants in the second room. The pool didn't have heating system. The child's playroom was closed for construction"

"This place is not the best. As a disabled patron. Parking was horrible. Then we placed on the higher floors which required us to go through the parking lot then take the elevator to the floor that you are staying on. The roof top room you have to get off the elevator and walk up stairs. On the side of the hotel"

"We stay here almost every time we come to Virginia Beach. They renovated the hotel a few years back and it looked great. This time we noticed the bathroom wasn’t as clean as usual. We also had to run over to Walgreens to buy some Febreze because the room had a musty odor when we arrived. Hopefully they will fix this issue. Also, we had a king size bed but it looked like they put queen size sheets and top on it. They didn’t cover the bed too well. Despite all of this, we enjoyed our stay and will...

"The ac unit was lil too noisy. Everything else was great."

"We had the time of our lives! We stayed in the Chestnut Cottage. Which was clean and so nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are a Dirty Dancing Fan. I would advice you to come and stay for a bit and take in all the activities and enjoy making memories Where the best film was made. ❤️"
