The welcoming committee of Stripey & Sam (cats) and sweet Piper (labradoodle) was awesome. Hope we could come back in a different season next time..:)"

"First and foremost, the condo was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I loved that it had a little balcony to enjoy my coffee in the morning and to view stars at night. It is in a beautiful setting and only 4 miles from Davis, where you can find places to eat. The location is ideal for visiting many natural areas and Blackwater State Park. It was very quiet the week we were there in early October too."

"Perfect stay, minutes to Timberline and Canaan Ski resorts! We’ve been making day trips to Canaan Valley for skiing for three years now, and this was our first time staying in the area. Black Bear Resort is nestled in the valley with a stunning view of Timberline, the room was spotless, the en-suite jacuzzi tub was much needed after a day on the slopes, and the bed was comfy with lots of extra pillows and blankets available. Check in was a breeze, and we were able to quickly drop off our key...

"Stayed here to ski at Timberline with teenage son and a friend of his. Located in strip with Ski Barn (great ski shop btw) and Mama Mia restaurant just before Timberline Road. Place was clean and warm. Host is friendly and very responsive by text to any questions I had. "
