"The property is set in a small quaint area overlooking the river. The hotel and additional buildings are really pretty and our room was huge and comfortable for three people. The staff were attentive, the beds were comfortable, and the shower hot. We were going to a show at the Basilica Hudson so although it was a short stay, it was wonderful and would highly recommend. We didn’t partake in the restaurant, live music or breakfast, but all seemed to be a great addition."

"We paid an exorbitant amount a night, which seemed to be driven by demand from nearby weddings rather than the quality of the hotel. Unfortunately, our experience did not come close to justifying that price. Upon arrival, the main light in the sitting area didn’t work. We removed both bulbs ourselves and brought them to the front desk, where we were told there was no maintenance person on staff. A few hours later, the lady at the front desk found replacement bulbs, which we installed...

"The Hidden Gem — Honest ReviewThe Hidden Gem has potential, and our host was very nice and accommodating. The location worked well for what we needed, but unfortunately, the property itself was disappointing. The camping trailer is very run down and needs significant updating. Some lights were broken or didn’t work, duct tape was holding part of the bedroom ceiling in place, the bedroom carpet looked dirty, and there was mold on the shower curtain. The electrical outlets were also concerning, as...

"Cool and unique spot. Great host!"

"The house was perfect as the owners were very helpful."

"This place was magical. Rooms were clean. Same amenities as a hotel. Blow dryer available! Mini fridge and a sheet for blinds if you need. The snow falling in the early morning was the highlight of the cabin stay. Very beautiful! There were two campfires and snores every night from 5-1pm. Very cute! Cabins are about 50-100ft from parking so be prepared to walk in snow after parking your care. You can get closer to a loading zone to load things into and out of cabins if needed though. String...

"Absolutely gorgeous property, the owner is awesome and can’t forget Leo the cat. "

"We had an amazing stay at the Magic Forest Farm Artist’s Retreat. The property is stunning, the cabin is beautiful, and nothing beats starting the day surrounded by nature and animals! "

"Incredible experience at a lakeside oasis. Our group visited for the weekend and wish we had stayed longer! The house being right on the lake with kayaks and paddleboats easily accessible, fireplace ambiance, and nearby pools and tennis courts made for a fun-filled active weekend. The host was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had, 11/10 would highly recommend and return for another visit soon."

"This house is very spacious and a great place for our two families with eleven of us to enjoy a long weekend together. There are many great sitting areas, TV options, and an awesome bunk bed set upstairs that our teenagers loved. There is a spiral staircase to the second level which could be an issue for families with young children but all of our kids were older and could handle it. We had enough towels and blankets for all of us. We really enjoyed the fire pit and yard and used the outdoor...

"The host, Jody was amazing. He did phone walk thru of the house when we got there to make sure we could use all the equipment which was extensive. He kept us updated all during our stay and was generally a great host. He really cared that we had a great time. It was a family vacation with four generations and there was something for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed and the outdoor kitchen was amazing. The big hits for our family were the pool and the karaoke."

"We loved this log cabin. Very quiet, clean, and well appointed. The decor is very thoughtful, with a bear and deer theme running throughout. Kitchen is new and well-stocked. The finished basement has a game table with pacman, donkey kong and other games. A dart board as well and a popcorn machine. Great space. It's located in a private lake community, with access to all the community amenities. The pool was great and then tennis courts are in very good condition. Lots of nearby hiking options....

"Wonderful stay! Lovely pond out back and it was perfect for a couples trip "
