Excellent stargazing as advertised and not far from the Appalachian trail and Grayson Highlands depending on where you are traveling to. It is a bit remote and no cell service but the Wi-fi works well so it’s no problem."

"My kids and I had an enjoyable and relaxing stay in the Copper Top Cottage. Sunrises and coffee on the porch were lovely. Laurel Creek out back was fun to explore. Blankets and beds were ample and cozy. Layout was perfect for our family. The cabin is in close proximity to all that was on our to-do list: biking the Virginia Creeper trail, hiking around White-top Mountain and Grayson Highlands State Park, and seeing wild ponies multiple times.
