"Upon arrival I was amazed by the glitz and glamour of the hotel. But this quickly wore off as it becomes apparent that there is alot of wear and tear. Had a few issues, minibar totally empty upon arrival very, very slow room service. I actually wouldn't recommend getting any kind of inroom dining as the food turned up soggy and warm from the long waits. Had breakfast at the buffet on level 3 which had a good variety and price was reasonable. The price for dinner here is a bit out of control....

"Ich war schon in mehreren Hotels in Singapur. Das Carlton hat mir sehr gut gefallen! Die Lage ist prima, direkt angrenzend an Chinatown. Auch zur MRT Station ist es nicht weit. Fußläufig gibt es viele Restaurants und auch einheimisches Essen. Die Zimmer sind groß genug und der Service prima. Was will man mehr!"

"Overall it is a beautiful hotel. We had issues with the TV in the bedroom that we had to have technicians come back twice to try and fix over the span of about 4 hours. That was quite frustrating. Water in the shower was lukewarm. The was also maintenance being done in the room next door all door which was quite loud. The staff were wonderful and food was great. Perhaps if they had of switched our room it would have been a more pleasant stay."

"I didn’t like the temperature of my airconditioned room.. thrice I asked front desk to fix and make it at 20 degrees but it stayed on 22-24.. I woke up every night coz I was feeling warm .. other than that, staff were all helpful"

"日本語対応の受付があるとネットでは書いてあったので安心して行ったが既にそんなカウンターはなくなっていました。 カウンターを探し回っていたところ背の高い日本人男性スタッフがとてもとても親切に対応してくれました！きめ細やかな柔軟な対応に感動しました！ 今回のシンガポール旅行が私たち家族にとってとても良い思い出になりました！ チェックアウトした後の荷物の預かりなども丁寧に対応していただき感謝しております。 また行きたい国の一つになりました！"
