"Overall okay. Only thing is the master bedroom aircon which takes awhile to fix. Owner very responsive and provided welcome drinks when arrived. The area is good and quite close to shops. Good to have a car though."

"Room was great - we had a junior suite with balcony which overlooked the forrest and the pool. No cushions on sunbeds on balcony but we managed. Great food and lovely staff. Not much to do in local area but would use hotel again as a 1 night stop over to somewhere else."

"Room was very dated and badly needs upgrading, wood panels which makes the room very dark. Vanity unit located in shower cubicle so nothing can be left on the vanity otherwise it gets wet when you shower. Shower only had 2 doors...there should have been 3...so the bathroom floor along with the vanity got soaked when showering. "Remote location with beautiful scenery. Accommodation was rustic but quaint and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful arranging outings for the family and helping resolve issues that arose."

"Everything was good"

"Dejligt ophold, fantastisk team. Gode river cruises. Dejlig mad, der blev taget hensyn til særlige kost. Alt er med i prisen også 3 flod sejlture og 2 jungle walk. God service. Flinke, hjælpsomme og opmærksomme personale. "We have never been to an area like this before and came because of the wildlife and culture. Sepilok Forest Edge Resort provided both. We were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the way Sepilok invites you into their culture and the way the lodge was built with the environment in mind. "

"Centrally located and competitively priced."

"Excellent reception, friendly staff, very clean and spacious room. Loved the layout of the room. Great to have AC. Took awhile to cool the room off. Street vendors with food nearby. Grocery store across the way. Great pop-up breakfast place down the block."

"Friendly staff, nice room with a comfy bed, and excellent breakfast buffet."

"The place is very worn down and not particularly clean. There’s a strong, unpleasant, and stuffy smell throughout the building. The escape routes in case of fire seem questionable and not clearly marked. Overall, it feels poorly maintained and unsafe. Definitely not a place I would recommend for families with children."
