Amazing stay, the pool area has a bad smell other than that the hotel is amazing.

Hotel was peaceful, clean, room very spacious, staff very nice and friendly. An overall very good experience. The hotel is a waterfront property with its own pier as it has a water activity shop. There is also a jewelry store on the compound. It also has various activities such as Friday night buffet at the Warner's Bar with live music. There are other activities on other nights as well. A small but lovely hotel in the hills above Portsmouth, with a commanding view of Prince Rupert Bay. The rooms are large, breakfast is fantastic and the staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful! Portsmouth is a great place to stay, with restaurants, whale watching, a couple of wine sand beaches to stay, and good beach bars in which to wile the days away. Highly recommend The Champs.

Serene private environment

Beautiful location and hotel. Nice restaurant, however dinner menu is a bit limiting, especially for vegetarians, offering only 1 vegetarian entree. The menu doesn’t rotate during a week, so if you have a long stay, it gets boring unless you go eat other places. Breakfast was very nice. Staff nice and helpful.

New elevator very helpful, very friendly serving staff, clean rooms every day is rare, great food. Very good business week. I’m a repeat customer.

This hotel was very close to the ferry boat marina and cruise ship docks. It's walkable to many shops and restaurants and right on a main street so I enjoyed the noise and vibrancy from the 2nd floor deck. My room was spotlessly clean and had a small fridge and a working air conditioner. The large deck was for all guests and overlooked the street. I was able to walk to the water where a cruise ship was docked, and then later that evening to a very enjoyable restaurant, that overlooked the...
